5 Questions with… Billie Redmond, founder Trademark Properties

Billie Redmond is the force behind the largest woman-owned boutique commercial real estate company in the Triangle. Redmond has won multiple awards for her business contributions, including the Triangle Business Journal Top 20 CEO’s in the Triangle in 2016. Redmond will also be a speaker at our 2019 WINnovation event, featuring women in business. We asked her five quick questions in advance of her talk.

What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?

I remind myself what day it is and where I am. I confirm my thought of my priority for the day!  (No really… after traveling for years for business and leisure it’s amazing how easy it is to not be present in the moment!)

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?

To smile and be the salt and light to those around you.

What are you reading these days?

The Logic of God by Ravi Zacharias and The Advantage by Patrick Lencioni

What do you listen to on the way to work?

I try not to turn on the music or talk on the phone but the latter is hard to pass up.  It always seems that there is one ‘quick’ phone call I could make.

What’s your go-to spot for a business lunch?

It was always 18 Seaboard before it closed, or Glenwood Grill.
